We make phones
feel easier.
Hoanio Studio is a small, independent team building Android apps that do one thing well — and a growing set of tools for people who find phones hard to use.
From small tools to millions of people.
We started out making simple utilities and playful text apps for Android, published under the name AppLife Team. Two of them, Big Font and Random Number, have each passed one million installs, and together our apps have been installed more than 2.5 million times.
Big Font changed how we think about our work. Many of its reviews come from people who simply want to read their phone again — often older adults, or family members setting up a phone for a parent. For them, a bigger font isn't a preference. It decides whether they can use their phone at all.
In 2026 we became Hoanio Studio and made accessibility our main focus.
What we believe.
One job, done well.
Each app focuses on a single task, so it's quick to learn and quick to open — no menus to get lost in.
Light on your phone.
Small downloads, fast start-up and smooth performance, even on older phones with little memory.
Honest and clear.
Plain words, every permission explained, and a privacy policy written for people, not lawyers.
Hoanio in numbers.
Next: Hoanio Easy.
